Memorial Services for Mary Lee Hamrick, Age 83 of Hartville, Missouri will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at The Little Creek Baptist Church, Hartville, Missouri, beginning at 11:00 AM.

Mary Lee (Coday) Hamrick, daughter of the late Cecil and Ella Florence (Marcum) Coday, was born December 25, 1942, in Hartville, Missouri, and departed this life May 6, 2026, with her family by her side, at 83 years of age.
Mary Lee grew up in the Hartville area, and she graduated from Hartville High School with the class of 1960. She was united in marriage to John W. Hamrick on April 7, 1959, and two children were born to this union: Randy and Sherrie. Mary Lee worked as a seamstress at H.D. Lee in Hartville for many years, and she also helped John with any handyman jobs that he would have. Later, she and John were over-the-road team drivers and enjoyed traveling coast-to-coast together. After her son, Randy, passed away, Mary Lee came off the road to help raise Randy’s children.
Mary Lee cherished any time that she was able to spend with her family, and she looked forward to keeping her grandchildren as often as she could. She loved watching shows and playing games with her grandchildren, especially badminton, hopscotch, Uno, Monopoly, and even doing Easter egg hunts any time of year. Her grandchildren also raved about her wonderful no-bake cookies.
Later in life, Mary Lee always looked forward to her weekly shopping trips with her sister, Barbara. Some of her other favorite pastimes included watching westerns and listening to gospel music. Mary Lee was also a longtime member of Little Creek Baptist Church north of Hartville, Missouri. Mary Lee never met a stranger that she didn’t care about, and she was truly kind to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John W. Hamrick, her son, Randy Hamrick, her parents, Cecil and Ella Florence Coday, one grandson, Samuel Hamrick, and three brothers, Larry Joe Coday, Frankie Coday, and Jerry Dean Coday.
Mary Lee is survived by her daughter, Sherrie L. Hake, three grandchildren, MiRanda Hake, Nick Hamrick and wife, Jasmine, and Kayla Campbell, seven great-grandchildren, Hailey Campbell, Aubree Campbell, Sammy Campbell, Kathleen Ross, Khloey Hamrick, Tessa Hamrick, and Jud Hamrick, two sisters, Barbara Kirby and Betty Adamson, John’s family in Florida, and many nephews, nieces, and friends who will miss her.
Memorial contributions may be made to Little Creek Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
