Mary Wilbanks, of Pomona, passed away on March 18, 2025, at her home. Mary was a wonderful mother & grandmother who will deeply be missed.
Mary was raised on Pole Hill south of Mtn. View, Missouri. She met the love of her life, Carl H. Wilbanks Sr and they were married on August 25, 1963, at the Mt. Zion Church. To this union three children were born: Carl Jr, Margaret & Marvin. Mary and Carl Sr. loved collecting and selling antiques in their past time. Mary worked for the University of Missouri for 20 plus years as a Nutrition Education Specialist. She loved roses, sunflowers, and cardinals.
Mary is survived by Carl Jr & Tammy Wilbanks of West Plains, Marvin Wilbanks & Shannon of Pomona, granddaughter Nikki Reyes, of Pomona, and two great friends Pat Keuhner & Wanda Bowman.
Mary’s husband, Carl Sr. and daughter Margaret Jones, preceded her in death.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Antioch Cemetery at Pomona.
