Melvin Dwain Stillwell, 78 years, 4 months, and 8 days old, passed away on, October 1, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.
Melvin was born May 23, 1944 in Rayborn, Missouri to Floyd C. and Emajean (Longwell) Raney.
Melvin was a Christian and attended church when he was able.
Melvin and Christy Nunn were united in marriage on September 1, 1995 in Miami, Oklahoma.
Melvin enjoyed working with horses. He raised Foxtrotters for many years and was a member of the Missouri Foxtrotters Association. He loved to fish and to visit his friends.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents.
Melvin is survived by his wife, Christy; son, Bill Stillwell; daughter, Lisa Stillwell; stepdaughter, Tonya; six grandchildren; brother, Bill Raney; two sisters, Lounett Haste and her special friend, James and Suzette McGuire and husband, John and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri. Memorials may be made to Integrity Hospice.
