Michael D. Hayes was born December 16, 1946 in West Plains to Marvin “Jack” Hayes and Hazel Hayes and passed away June 22, 2022.
He graduated from West Plains High School with the class of 1965 and attended MSU in West Plains.
He married Donna S. Sanders on June 10, 1972.
He worked at and retired after 30 years from the West Plains Housing Authority.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, father “Jack”, mother Hazel, and brother Larry.
He will lie in state at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel to be followed by interment in the Oak Lawn Cemetery on June 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Register book will be available to sign on Tuesday, June 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, June 29, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
