Michael DeWayne Collins passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at his home in Willow Springs, MO. He was born on July 21, 1983, in Mountain View, MO. He was 36 years old.
Michael grew up in Willow Springs. He attended Willow Springs High School, and he graduated in May 2003. He worked at Midwest Walnut in Willow Springs, among other jobs. Michael married the love of his life, Rebecca Pennington, on June 29, 2019 in Willow Springs, MO. Through this marriage, he gained two beautiful children, Benjamin and Jocelyn. Michael’s hobbies included spending time with his family and friends, being outside, working on automobiles (real and LEGO), and anything that had to do with camouflage. He attended Westside Family Life Center in Willow Springs, MO. Michael never met a stranger, and he will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Michael is preceded in death by his uncles, Leowen “Onie” Earls and Stephen Summers; his grandparents, John and Linda Miller, and Franklin “Bud” Collins;
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Pennington-Collins, and children, Benjamin and Jocelyn, of the family home; his parents, James and Tambrey Miller of Willow Springs, MO.; his mother-in-law, Tomi Williams of Bakersfield, California; his sister, BreAnna Combs and husband, Aaron, of Willow Springs; his nephew, Dalton Combs of Willow Springs; his grandparents, Richard and Lois Bryson of Hardy, Arkansas; his uncle, Robert Collins and wife, Virginia, of Pomona; his uncle, David Collins and wife, Gail, of Willow Springs; his aunt, Loretta Bell and husband, David, of Willow Springs; his aunt Mary Ann Earls of Willow Springs; his aunt, Heather Summers of West Plains; his uncle, John Miller and wife, Joanne, of Willow Springs; He is further survived by several cousins and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Westside Family Life Center in Willow Springs, MO., officiated by Pastor David Lovan. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC. Online condolences may be left at
