Funeral services for Michael Patrick Estes, 73, of Cincinnati, Ohio, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Estes died Oct. 1, 2021 at his residence.
He was born March 4, 1948, in Gainesville, the son of Lehman K. and Dona Marie Estes. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1966.
Mr. Estes was a proud iron worker, and he also worked as a real estate broker for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Love Estes of Cincinnati; his daughter, Stefani Michele Estes of Cincinnati; two sons, Michael Patrick Estes and wife Dianne of Richmond, Kentucky, and Matthew Lehman Estes of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Johnathan Michael Estes and wife Jessica of Cincinnati, Vanessa Marie Yates and husband William of Wellston, Ohio, and Caleb Michael Estes of Richmond, Kentucky; great-grandchildren Lain Michael Estes of Cincinnati, Emma Grace Yates, Hazel Rae Yates and Willard Kemper Yates, all of Wellston, Ohio; his siblings, Shirlee Estes of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Pamela Ruckman and husband Ken of Columbia, Melba Dilbeck of South Fork, Kathryn Wedgeworth and husband Terry of Mountain Home, and John Q Estes of St. Louis; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, George Boehm; his grandson, Cory Boehm; siblings Wayne, Maxine, Verlene, T.J., Eileen, Eulalia, L.K., Andy James, Joe Bill, Wyman, Jack and Ronnie.
Burial will be at the Faye Cemetery near Gainesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faye Cemetery fund.
