Michael John Brinkam, 73, passed away January 29, 2022, at Ozarks Healthcare, West Plains, Missouri. He was born February 14, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John Stevence Brinkam and Mildred Almanda Katemen. Mike served in the US Army that included a tour in Viet Nam. He then became a truck driver for the remainder of his working career.
Mike is lovingly remembered by his wife, Diane; one son, Lance Brinkam and wife, Natasha; one daughter, Carla Randolph and husband, Billy; five grandchildren, Tiffany Weaver and husband, Tyler, Shelby McBride and husband, Michael, Kyle Randolph and wife, Destiny, Mackenzie Brewer and husband, Charlie, Brandon Tyler and wife, Mary; and thirteen great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred; his mother and father-in-law, Wilma and Junior Cowen; and two brothers-in-law, Eddie Cowen and Willard Cowen.
Mike was proud to be a Veteran and member of the Combat Vets Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drinking coffee with friends at the restaurant. Mike had many cousins and uncles that he was very close to. He will truly be missed.
