Pat Hannaford, 75, was born and raised in Gainesville, and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1964. On November 14, 1964, she married Charles Kenneth Hannaford, and they made their home in Leavenworth, Kansas. She worked at Hallmark Cards; Kenneth as well until his entry into the U.S. Army and service in Vietnam.
In 1976, the Hannafords and their son moved to the Gainesville area, and through the years, Pat worked at a few gas stations as a clerk, and an insurance office. For many years later, Pat and Kenneth maintained a farm in Pontiac with beef and dairy cattle.
Pat attended Frontier Baptist Church in Pontiac much of her adult life, and was a devout disciple of Christ. After Kenneth passed away in 2017, she later married Jerry Crawford in June 2020 in Pontiac. She continued to live in Pontiac with Jerry and both attended Frontier Baptist.
She loved God, the church, and people inside or out of it. She was a caring neighbor and friend to many. She was a wonderful daughter, devoted wife and awesome grandma.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Crawford, of Gainesville; one son Chuck Hannaford (Tanya) of Republic, MO; one granddaughter, Alex Hannaford; and many family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Bruce DeWeese and Dale Roberts officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Pontiac Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
