Memorial Services for Patricia Ann Cromer, Age 71 of West Plains, Missouri will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 in The Rose Chapel of The Robertson Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, Missouri, beginning at 2:00 PM.
In honor of Patty’s life and legacy of generosity, the family has established the Patty Land Cromer Kindness Fund to provide assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the local community. Memorial contributions to the fund may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main Street or brought to either Wood and Houston bank locations in West Plains.
Patty passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on December 6, 1954, in West Plains, Missouri, to Charles J. Land and Flossie Mae (Bandy) Land. On May 5, 1973, she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Steve Cromer, in West Plains. Together they built a loving home and shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.
Patty will be remembered for her kind and generous heart, her selfless spirit, and her remarkable ability to forgive. She was a woman who quietly placed the needs of others before her own, offering encouragement, compassion, and unconditional love to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Her greatest joy was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and took immense pride in every milestone, celebration, and moment they shared together. Her love was steadfast, and her presence brought comfort, strength, and warmth to those she held dear.
Patty possessed a remarkable artistic talent and had a true passion for interior decorating. She had a gift for creating beautiful, welcoming spaces that reflected her creativity and made everyone feel at home.
Above all, Patty was a devoted servant of the Lord. Her faith guided every aspect of her life, inspiring her to serve others with humility, grace, and compassion. She lived as an example of Christ’s love through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those around her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Cromer; her two children, Brad Cromer and wife, Kerri, and Leslie Hoenie and husband, Shawn; four cherished grandchildren, Drew Cromer, Kori Cromer, Trey Hoenie, and Ellison Hoenie; two brothers, Larry Land and wife, Brenda, and James Land and husband, Sy; one sister, Pamela Solomon; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will treasure her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. Land and Flossie Mae (Bandy) Land.
