Patricia Darlene Lamb

Patricia Darlene Lamb, 89 years, 1 month, and 8 days old, passed away on November 21, 2023 at Webco Manor in Marshfield, Missouri with family by her side.

Pat was born October 13, 1934 in Staunton, Virginia to John W. and Emma Jane (Clark) Frenger.

She was a Christian and member of Red Bank Baptist Church for many years.

On December 31, 1955, Pat and Floyd Lamb, Sr. were united in marriage in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Together they had two children, Floyd “Buddy”, Jr. and Debbie. As a military family they moved up and down the east coast and also lived in Puerto Rico. She served as a military wife for 20 years and then they retired and moved to Florida in 1972.

Pat worked in Florida as a sales clerk in department stores, and when they moved to Ava in 1993 she worked at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.  Most of all she loved serving her Lord and Savior.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Lamb, Sr; son, Floyd “Buddy” Lamb, Jr.; two brothers, John W. Frenger, Jr. and Glenn B. Frenger and one sister, Ruth F. Holley.

Pat is survived by her daughter and husband,  Debbie and Sam Summers; daughter-in-law, Sheree Lamb; eight grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; many nieces; nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Pat will be Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Murray Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday prior to the service at 9:00 A.M.  Officiating will be Pastor Ean Hendrix. Family requests memorials to the Murray Cemetery or Society of the Blind.
