Funeral services for Patricia Elizabeth Farris, 78, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri, with Brother Zohn Engelhardt officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Maurice Doran and Jenny Mondello, on September 4, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri and died August 23, 2021 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage October 25, 1984 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert Farris.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Farris, of the home, West Plains, Missouri; three children, Melanie Martin and husband Kenneth, Batesville, Arkansas, Anthony Harper, St. Louis, Missouri, and Jeri Harper and husband Derrek Patrick, Denver, Colorado; one brother, Dennis Hardy and wife Missy, Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Sue Ellen Hagan and husband Tom, Phoenix, Arizona; one sister-in-law Debbie Williams; twelve grandchildren, Carissa Rutledge and husband Zach, Jedidiah Isom, Stephen Rector, Zackery Martin and wife Jada, Joseph Martin, Jesse Martin, Andrew Martin, Alexus Watson and husband Jordan, Gage Patrick, Abbigail Harper, Anthony Eichler and wife Rose, and Devin Eichler, and a whole bunch of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one step-son, Darrin Farris; one sister Jane Leady, and one great grandson, Andrew Isom.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friends to many. She loved the Ozark Cafe and everyone that was a part of the cafe. She was known as “grandma” there, and #10 table will forever be hers. She was a huge animal lover and had two dogs of her own whom she loved very much.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Plains Regional Animal Shelter, West Plains, Missouri and can be left at the funeral home.
Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home, Inc. West Plains, Missouri.
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
