Patricia “Patty” Anderson went to rest on Friday, January 21st, near Gainesville, Missouri. She went peacefully in the home she shared with her husband of 62 years, Jerry “Slim” Anderson. She was 81.
She was born Patricia Delores Wallace in Minneapolis, on the 13th of December 1940, to parents Pat Wallace & Marcella (Tesmer) Wallace.
She was the oldest of nine siblings, including Michelle, Carol, Terrance, Timothy, Michael, Brett, Laurie and Steve. She became Patricia Anderson after marrying the love of her life on December 12th 1959. She was a loving mother to seven children of her own, including Wesley, Kellaegh, Clay, Patrick, Jesse, William and Shalene. As well as 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was a strong and loving woman to all who knew her. She was known to be short of stature, short of temper but never short on love. She was full of smiles and hugs and she never held back tears. She loved art, drawing and painting and making jewelry for everyone she met. She loved to share her gifts with others and bring them a smile. She also loved sharing her belief in the Bible and its promises, which she did on every possible occasion.
