Paul O. Pittman, age 75, of Willow Springs, Missouri, went home to be with Jesus Monday, October 4, 2021, at Ozark Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri. He was born in Waynesville, Missouri, on August 6, 1946, to Glen E and Velma M Pittman.
Paul joined the US Marines Corps on December 23, 1969. He served as a Bomber Navigator and a Radio Engineer and was a Captain when discharged on February 1, 1978. He returned home and completed a BA Degree in Computer Analysis at the University of Missouri in Rolla, Missouri. Paul married the love of his life, Sally Jean (Hartley) Pittman, on January 1, 1994, in Willow Springs, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Velma Pittman.
He is survived by his wife, Sally J, and daughter, Karen L of the home; two brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Pittman of Raymore, MO, and Larry (Diane) Pittman of Nixa, MO; an adopted daughter Lucy (Harold) Roper of Covington, GA; two grandsons, Michael, and Matthew Roper; special nephews, nieces, and one very special uncle he considered as a brother.
Paul was a musician who loved gospel, country, and bluegrass music. He also loved fishing and boating with friends and family. Paul was loved by many and he loved so many. He will be missed as greatly as he was admired.
