Peggy Marie Teney, age 66, passed away on July 31, 2022, at Mountain View Healthcare, Mountain View, Missouri. She was born to Joseph Frederick and Malissie Louise (Wade) Arvin on December 22, 1955, in Willow Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Malissie Arvin, and three brothers, Gary, Terry, and Joe Arvin.
Survivors include her four sons, Robert Mitchell of Mountain View, MO, Richard Mitchell of Salem, MO, Chris Mitchell and wife, Salina of Salem, MO, and James Mitchell of Mountain View, MO; two brothers, John and Roger Arvin, both of Birch Tree, MO; four sisters, Betty Hudgens of Birch Tree, Rhonda Fawdry of Mountain View, Darlene Simon of Mountain View, and Gloria Wallace of Mountain View; seven grandchildren, Elizebeth, Steven, Roy, Jacob, Miranda, Anastasia, and James Jr.; and one great-granddaughter.
Peggy enjoyed spending her time fishing, camping, sewing, cooking, and word searches. She believed in the truth of God and his Holy word.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri.
