Phyllis Diane Bruffett, 66 years, 3 months, and 18 days old, passed away on December 24, 2023 at Ava Place in Ava, Missouri. Beloved sister, aunt, and dear friend to many.
Phyllis was born September 6, 1957, in Moline, Illinois to Bearl Harvey, Sr. and Judy Lee (Proksch) Bruffett.
Phyllis lived in the Quad Cities, Kansas and Iowa. She moved to Thornfield, Missouri upon her retirement from Xerox after 27 years.
Phyllis was a Christian, and before moving to Ava she attended the Mt. Lebanon General Baptist Church in Thornfield, Missouri.
Phyllis enjoyed sewing and was a very creative crafter. She also had a passion for cooking and sharing her talents with family and friends. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her beloved cats and dogs.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents.
Phyllis is survived by her sister, Penny Obermann and husband, Jim; her brother, Bearl Bruffett, Jr. and wife, Denise; her niece, Kaylee Wesa; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, in Ava. Memorial services will be determined at a later date. Donations in memory of Phyllis can be made to the Mt. Lebanon General Baptist Church in Thornfield, Missouri.
