On September 27, 2022, Ralph Paul Buskirk of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away at the age of 77. Ralph, known as “Paul” to his friends and family, was born on February 12, 1945, to Ralph Jacob and Maxine (Swoveland) Buskirk in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
After graduating from Mountain View High School in 1963, Paul joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country from 1963-1988. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
Paul was blessed with two sons, Victor Dale and David Paul. In 2011, He married Donna Weaver and gained children-in-love, Bryan Kelly and Teresa Jean.
Paul and Donna moved back to Mountain View, where Paul found happiness in living the “Farm Life.” Paul loved their cows and enjoyed giving updates on how many new calves were found in the pastures. Uncharacteristic of Paul, he became a foster parent to any cat that found its way to their back deck, and he loved his cats. This is also where Paul enjoyed counting several deer and the dozens of hummingbirds that found their way to his feeders. Paul definitely lived his best life in Mountain View.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and son-in-love, Randall Dean.
Paul is survived by his wife, Donna, of the family home; two sons, David Buskirk of Charleston, SC, and Victor (Cathy) Buskirk of Summersville, SC; children-in-love, Kelly (Jennifer) Beach of Crowley, TX, and Teresa Beach-Koecher of Encinitas, CA; sister, Naomi (James) Daniels of Willow Springs, MO, Fawnelle Pittenger Patterson, and Marion (Amos) Pittenger Belt; brother, David Allen Pittenger; grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, and Cameron; grandchildren-in-love, Whitney, Logan, Dakota, Mason, Averi, Oliver, and Brandon; and a host of nieces, nephew, and friends.
