Randal Mark Pearson was born to Roy Marwood Fischer and Phyllis Earlene (Carver) Fischer February 22 of 1955 in Newport Beach California. After a long well fought battle with cancer he went peacefully to be with Renee in his heavenly home on April 12 of 2025 at Cox Hospital.
After the loss of his father, his mother Earlene married James Pearson, Randy and Mike were adopted by James in 1971.
In 1968 the family moved to Cabool MO where Randy excelled in football and where he met his forever cheerleader and the love of his life Renee Rust. Randy and Renee were married on May 15 1971, and to this union two children were born a daughter Krista Lynn and a son Ryan Mark. Renee and Randy were always the hub of their family. Their love and sense of humor was so great that it spilled out to everyone, they enjoyed 49 years of marriage until Renee’s passing in 2020.
Randy was no stranger to work; at 16 years of age, he worked as a wrecker driver even though he was “legally” too young to drive it, this is what started his love for driving. For over 39 years this love took him to many places and built lifelong friendships with other drivers that lasted until his passing. Sparky as he was known to many, logged over 4 million legal miles, the true number only he knows. His work ethic and love for driving enabled him to provide well for his family and spoil his children rotten. Whether he was sitting listening to records with Sissy while he was sketching pictures, riding dirt bikes and jacking up stompers with Ryan or even just sitting watching The Dukes of Hazzard with his children at his feet, he was making the fondest of memories with his children. It was always going to be a good time when dad got home off the truck. After being forced to retire at 55 due to injury Randy enjoyed occasional trips to the casino with Renee, playing pool and cards in the basement with family and spending time with his grand kids and great grand kids. He especially enjoyed Renee’s short order kitchen and all the goodies that she baked.
Randy was preceded in death by his birth father Roy Marwood Fischer, his loving wife of 49 years Renee Pearson, His father James Pearson and his grandson Dakota Snyder.
