Randy Dale Brooks was born June 15, 1973, to Melvin Dale and Connie Sue (Carr) Brooks, in Mountain View, Missouri. He died on February 4, 2021, at the age of 47.
Randy married Angela Rose Dean on March 23, 1996, in Houston, Missouri, and to this union, four children were born.
He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin; and grandparents, Ralph and Sue Carr, and Virgil and Donetta Brooks.
Randy is survived by his wife, Angela of the home; mother, Connie Houck of Willow Springs, MO; two sons, Seth and wife Katie of Nixa, MO, Aaron Brooks of the home; two daughters, Whitney Brooks and Allison Brooks both of the home; four brothers, Jason Houck and wife Carrie of Branson, MO, Marty Brooks of Mountain View, MO, Sammy Houck of Rogersville, MO, Chad Brooks and wife Amber of Mountain View, MO; sister, Lisa Dodson and husband Eugene of Eminence, MO; two grandchildren, Sophia Cox and Colton Brooks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Randy was saved at the age of 9 at Camp Joy in Ava, Missouri. He had a heart for missions and was able to attend multiple mission trips to Panama and Honduras. He became an ordained Minister in 2002 and pastored in Summersville, Mountain View, and West Plains. Randy loved people, loved playing his guitar and spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri with Pastor Dennis Walton officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 8, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Dell Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
