A Memorial Visitation for Rebecca “Becky” Wilson will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 at The Elliot-Gentry Carder Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Rebecca “Becky” Wilson 69 of Cabool MO, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 19th at her home. Becky will be missed by family and friends for her huge heart and willingness to help everyone she could. She always enjoyed having family around and loved every minute she got to spend time with them. Becky was an amazing artist and loved to draw anytime she could, she absolutely loved all kinds of music from country to rock, there was rarely a time if you visited her that the radio was not on. She loved being outside planting flowers, going camping or fishing, she just loved being outdoors whenever she could. In the end Becky held her family close as they were her whole world.
Becky was born on August 28th 1957 in LaGrange Georgia to Eugene Wilson and Juanita Hamilton. She lived the majority of her life between Georgia and Missouri, she attended high school at Cabool High School. After school she quickly discovered her passion for helping people and started working as a CNA. She had one son Philip “Rusty” Wilson, who with the help and support of family and friends she raised as a single mother, until meeting the love of her life Alan Ross. Becky and Alan were together from 1992 until the lord called her home. In the 34 years they spent together, they shared the good times and the bad but they did it side by side trusting their love for each other and God was all they needed.
Becky attended several churches throughout her life, she was a born again christian who knew and loved her lord and savior. Even though her health prevented her from attending church later in life, her love for God never diminished.
Becky was preceded in death by her Mother Juanita “Hamilton” Arnold, Step-Father Clyde Arnold, Father Eugene Wilson and Step-Mother Mary Wilson, Mother-in-law Patricia Ross, Brothers Paul Wilson, Earl Arnold, Brother-in-law Floyd Ross, Micah Ross and Luther “Porter” Rhodes and sisters Gwen Sears, Sister-in-law Julie Rhodes and Kelly Ross . She is survived by her long time spouse Alan Ross of Cabool MO, Son Philip “Rusty” Wilson and girlfriend Jennifer Chambers of Houston Mo, Brother Chuck Wilson and wife Regina Wilson of Willard MO, Sister Janet Brown and husband Allison Brown of Lebanon MO, Sister Laurie Arnold of Richland MO; as well as several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and countless cousins spread across the country
