Richard “Cotton” Robinette

Richard B. “Cotton” Robinette, 81, of Gainesville, MO passed away November 4, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN to Jack and Ann Robinette.

Cotton was born a cowboy, grew up in Arizona and worked on several ranches running wild cattle and horses. He was a bareback rider and traveled down the road (oh the stories he could tell). Cotton owned and ran Lake Pleasant Game Club, was a team roper, carpenter, and a union member. He moved to Missouri where he trained horses and team roped. He was a good husband of 57 years and a loving father. He never hesitated to tell you what he was thinking.
