Robert “Kenny” Kenneth Thompson

Robert Kenneth Thompson, 60 years, 11 months, and 13 days old, passed away suddenly on September 23, 2024 at his home.

Kenny was born October 10, 1963 in Ocala, FL to Robert and Ida (Mearse) Thompson.

He grew up in Ocala and graduated from High School there. 

He was self employed and he owned and operated Medical Equipment and Inspection and Repair in Ava for several years which was on the Ava square. Kenny also owned on the square, The RAI Thrift Store. He had just recently retired. 

On December 17, 2021,  Kenny and Angela McDonald  were united in marriage at Ava.  

Kenny worked hard in his business and enjoyed being home after his retirement with his wife, Angie. He enjoyed keeping the home grounds up and playing with his dogs. He also delighted in attending local festivals. Kenny was dedicated to helping the disabled. He will be greatly missed.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents. 

He is survived by his wife Angela; his daughter, Kaycie Thompson and her daughter, Devyn; his son, Ricky Thompson; other grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Cremation services are being conducted for Kenny by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO per his wishes.
