Roger Don Peaslee was born in Tucson, Arizona, on December 6, 1952, to Harley Clifford and Rosemary (Cameron) Peaslee. He died peacefully at his home in Mountain View, Missouri, on February 10, 2022, at the age of 69. Roger was united in marriage to Janet (Gibson) Peaslee on May 30, 1980, and to this union, three children were born, Jessica, Justin, and Kimberly.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Rosemary Peaslee; one brother, David Peaslee; and one granddaughter, Kaitlin Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Peaslee of the family home; three children, Jessica Peaslee and fiancé, Bryan Vanatta of Mountain View, MO, Justin Peaslee and wife, Christy of Mountain View, MO, and Kimberly Pritchett and husband, Garry Jr of Winona, MO; one sister, Rhonda Balcarcel and husband, Fernando of California; fourteen grandchildren, David and Elizabeth Peaslee, Gabby, Destiny, and Becca Barker, Amelia, Curtis, and Garry Pritchett, III, Cheyenne, and James Anderson, Matthew and Rebecca Kowal, and Celina Vanatta and Chase Vanatta; one great-grandchild, Kevin Schlatt; and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was a man of many words who never met a stranger. He was kind and generous and would unselfishly give his last dollar to someone in need. He was the kind of man that always put others before himself. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything that involved being outdoors. Roger’s wife, children, and grandchildren were his greatest blessings, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Roger was a member of the Bethel Community Church in Summersville, Missouri, and loved his church family dearly.
