Ronald Arlon Sudbury

Ronald Arlon Sudbury, 72 years, 4 months, 10 days old, passed away on  August 16, 2024, at his home with his wife, Pat, and family by his side.

Ron was born April 6, 1952, in Alameda, California, to Arlon Arcey and Leva Mae (Graham) Sudbury.

Ron grew up in California and moved to Ava in 1993.   

Ron and Pat Harris have been together happily for 18 ½ years.

He worked at Emerson Electric and Copeland for many years. Prior to working at Emerson Electric, Ron worked at Fasco in Ozark, Missouri. He enjoyed riding his Harley, shopping, collecting, playing with his grandkids, and being with all his family and friends. Ron was a Christian and raised in the Baptist faith. He was a kind, giving, and very generous man. His legacy of love and selflessness will live on in his family and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Renee’ and two brothers, Dean and Mike.

Ron is survived by his life partner, Pat; four daughters, Beverly and Geoff Hartley, Cassie and Zach Jones, Jessica Cardwell, and Bethany and Jacob Denney, and close family friend, Dustin Davis; grandchildren; Keagan and Kendra Etenburn, and many other grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his brother and wife, Don and Jackie Sudbury; nephew and wife, Ryan and Haylee Sudbury; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Ron will be prior to the service on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri.  Graveside service will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wasola, Missouri. Officiating will be Bishop, Glen Hartley. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery.
