Ronnie Grogan

Ronnie Eugene Grogan a resident of Willow Springs, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri surrounded by his family and special friends. Ronnie was born April 29, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri to Troy F. and Betty (Whited) Grogan and was 62 years of age.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Troy F. Grogan; brothers, Denny Ray Grogan and Daryl Robert Grogan; grandparents, Robert and Rosettie Grogan and Marvin and Opal Whited.

 He is survived by his mother, Betty Grogan of Willow Springs, Missouri; brothers, Randy Grogan (Alice)   of Willow Springs, Missouri, Danny (Janice) Grogan of Stover, Missouri, Robbie (Glenda) Grogan of Gardner, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and great nephews; his Railroad Family and many friends.  

Ronnie graduated with the class of 1975 from Willow Springs High School.  After high school he worked for Bailey Pontiac, James Chevrolet, and finally with the Frisco Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a trackman.  In April of 2017, Ronnie retired from BNSF after 37 years of service.

Ronnie was a Christian and attended General Baptist Church as a child and Westside Family Life Center in adulthood. He loved cars and music (as his many guitars proved).   In his spare time you could find him detailing his truck or playing his guitars. 

A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Yarber Mortuary Chapel in Willow Springs, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to Near Home Cemetery and can be left at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri. Inurnment will be at a later date at Near Home Cemetery.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri.
