Rosemary (Stewart) Barnett, 67years, 4 months, and 2 days old, went home to the Lord on December 22, 2021.
Rosemary was born August 20, 1954 in Woodland, California to Ancil and Glenda (Graham) Stewart. She grew up on their farm near Ava, Missouri. A country girl through and through , she loved her horses, dogs, a pet cow and chicken. She especially enjoyed coon hunting in the Ozarks with her father. Stuart, her only child, was born in Missouri.
Rosemary attended Ava schools and then Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri where she earned a Bachelor’s deree in Accounting. She made several special friends in school and has remained close to them throughout her entire life.
Rosemary and Stuart moved to the Tulsa, Oklahoma area where she began her career in Accounting. She met and married her husband Ralph , and they lived near Claremore, Oklahoma. She continued her love for animals, riding horses, and finding homes for many stray dogs and cats – while keeping a few. She was also a loving and active grandmother to her three granddaughters, who dearly love their Nana B and have stayed in constant contact, sharing their daily joys and challenges.
Rosemary was preceded by her parents and one brother Tom Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph; son, Stuart; and three beautiful granddaughters, Abigail, Margaret, and Zoe.
Rosemary was a joy to be around even when she was suffering from health issues. A wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother, God and family were her life. She was a devout Christian, recently attending Washington Baptist Church in Claremore. She will be missed by many.
Services for Rosemary will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021at 2:00 PM in Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM. until service time. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Officiating will be Robert Roberts and Jason Snelson. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery or Washington Baptist Church in Claremore.
