Roy Junior McIntosh

Roy Junior McIntosh, 71, of rural Smithville, Arkansas, was born in Campbell, Missouri, and passed away in Jonesboro.

He loved caring for his family, especially his grandbabies, and watching all sports; he was an avid Razorback fan. Roy had worked as an insurance salesman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Stuart McIntosh; his parents, Thomas Clyde and Winnie Marie (Harp) McIntosh; a sister, Betty Sue Mangrum; and two brothers, Charles Wayne and Bob McIntosh.

Survivors include his wife, Susan (Ensminger) McIntosh of the home; children, Roy Jason of Jonesboro, Robert Jacob (Dewana) of Smithville, James Jordan of Jonesboro, Skylar Genene of Pocahontas; daughter-in-law, Beverly; brother, Gene of North Little Rock; sisters, Laverne Guy of Hot Springs and Linda Roberts of Grenada, Mississippi; eight grandchildren: Brittney, Kirby, Madeline, Addison, Aaralynn, Kali, Adrian, and Zachary; one great-grandson, Ezra; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives; and numerous good friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be Monday, January 20, from 12:30 p.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., all in Highland Hills Baptist Church at Highland, Arkansas.

Burial will follow in Buchanan Cemetery near Poughkeepsie.
