Sherrie Rogers

Sherrie Gail Rogers, daughter of Robert Sebree, Roy and Linda (McCroskey) Rodgers, was born December 21, 1972, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She departed this life Saturday, September 9, 2023, in the Hartville Care Center, of Hartville, Missouri, at the age of 50 years, 8 months, and 19 days.

Sherrie was born in Oklahoma, raised in Texas, and later moved to Hartville, Missouri, her freshman year of high school in 1987. She later married and resided in Mansfield, Missouri, for 34 years.

Sherrie loved spending time with her family, friends, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending street racing, gaming and spending time with both of her boys, Rusty and Ryan. She loved her children very much and was very proud of them. She also enjoyed loving her dog, Sophie.

Sherrie was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and caring neighbor and friend. She would give you the shirt off of her back if anyone needed it as she was a very unselfish person. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Rodgers, her step-father, Roy Rodgers, grandmother, Joan McCroskey, grandfather, Hubert Gilliland, and two step-sisters, Debra Rodgers and Yvonne Knippers.

Sherrie is survived by her husband, Billy, of the home, two sons, Rusty Rogers of Ava, Missouri, and Ryan Rogers of Mansfield, Missouri, a sister, LaDonna Hightower, and her husband Ronnie, of Hartville, Missouri, a nephew, Clay Hightower, and his wife, Stacy, of Falcon, Missouri, a niece, Alyssa Murrell, and her husband, John, of West Plains, Missouri, another niece, Allison James, and her husband, Josh, of Falcon, Missouri, and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements for cremation were under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Hartville. Burial will be in the Steele Memorial Cemetery of Hartville at a later date.
