She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Bauer; two sons, Jeremiah Shelton and Kyle Williams; three daughters, Kayla Shelton , Madeline Pankey and Valerie Pankey; five sisters, Connie Cline,  Bonnie Barton, Trisha Blanks,  Tonya Stotts and Randee Dunsire; four brothers , Steven Barton, Mike Riggs, William Riggs and Edward Harper; and one sister by heart, Bonnita Bullock; and many cousins,  nieces and nephews.

Sunny grew up in Cuba, MO. She got her GED and continued to do computer training in St Louis, MO after the age of seventeen. Later in life when living in Washington State she went to Grays Harbor Community College and did a training program for more computer training and ended up getting a job at Safe Harbor in the help center doing computer support. She also worked at a banker realty office as a receptionist, and as many people may know she worked at the Beehive restaurant in her later twenties which was one of her favorite jobs.

She had received Christ as her Savior and was baptized on her 16th birthday, and she said it was one of the best days of her life. She remained faithful through the years despite the hardships she faced.

Sunny loved coloring, shopping, she was a very creative person to the core. She loved the color yellow, collecting apples, sunflowers and anything sun, moon and stars.

Sunny loved many movies and TV shows, “Cocktail”, ” “The First Wives Club,” and “Bones” are just a few to mention. She was a huge fan of Goldi Hawn, and Kurt Russell and she loved the fact that they were Santa and Mrs. Claus in Christmas Chronicles. Sunny loved helping people and had the biggest heart. Her name was Sunny, and it is ironic because she shined bright and it radiated off her to every person she touched in her life.

She loved her family, family meant everything to her, and I do not think that will ever change. More than anything though Sunny loved her kids. Life gets in the way sometimes and it is hard to see through painful situations and everything in between but when it came down to it her kids are what she loved most in the world.

Sunny was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was taken from us too soon! Addiction can come in like a thief in the night and take the best parts of the people that we love away with no warning, and we are left with so many unanswered questions.

Sunny was the sun, the moon and the stars and there will not be a day that we won’t miss her. The good news is she is in Heaven now, no more pain and if we could ask for anything it would be that she is happy and free of pain, and I know this to be true. And time will slip by, and life will go on but from our hearts you will never be gone. We will think of you always and we will talk about you too, we have so many memories but will always wish we still just had you!
