Susan Kay Adams, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away at Mountain View Healthcare Center in Mountain View, MO on Sunday, January 29, 2023. She was born June 14, 1949, in Willow Springs to Elick and Letha (Johnson) Collins and was 73 years old.
Susan and her future husband, Francis, met in West Plains, MO. On June 19th, 1970, they were married in Willow Springs where they made their home. Together they owned and operated the Adams Welder and Wrecker Service where she was the office manager. In her free time, she loved to crochet, embroider, and read. However, she especially loved to hunt and fish with Francis. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; her parents, Elick and Letha; and her sisters, Dorothy and Christine Collins.
She is survived by her children, Roger Adams and Lisa Adams; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that any donations or memorials may be made out to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in memory of Susan and either mailed or may be left at the funeral home.
A visitation for Susan will be held at Willow Funeral Home, LLC from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 2nd with the funeral service immediately following with Pastor Scott Williamson officiating.
