Teresa was united in marriage to Michael Fletcher on September 24, 1983, at Manes Baptist Church in Manes, Missouri. This union was blessed with one daughter, Kayla Nicole. Teresa loved being a mom and according to Kayla, “she was the Best Mom in the world and my Best Friend”.

She worked for over 20 years at Tracker Marine in Lebanon, Missouri, in the cafeteria as a cook. Teresa loved to cook and she learned a lot of her cooking skills from her Grandma Bruffett. She took great pride and pleasure cooking for her family and friends.

Teresa was saved and was baptized on September 10, 2022. She was a member of Manes Baptist Church. She was a strong and godly woman and loved to talk about the Lord. Even though she had a lot of health problems here on earth, we take comfort in knowing that she is rejoicing with her Jesus and no longer in pain. There was a time when Teresa would go around in the community and pick up kids and take them to church, so they would learn about the love of Jesus.

Teresa was an amazing singer and she lit up the room everywhere she went. She loved to sing gospel music and a few years ago she got to sing at a gospel show in Branson, Missouri. Now she is walking the streets of gold and singing in the heavenly choir.

Family was very important to Teresa. Her grandchildren were the twinkle in her eyes. She loved spending every moment she could with them. She was also very fond of her house dogs, which gave her a lot of comfort and joy. Teresa was a big Kansas City Chiefs fans and had quite a collection of Chiefs memorabilia.

Teresa enjoyed helping Michael on the farm. She loved taking the side by side and driving over the farm checking on the cattle. She also loved watching for hummingbirds.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Howard Lee Bruffett, her step-father, Robert Gilmore, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jake and Azalee Fletcher.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Fletcher of the home in Manes, Missouri, her daughter, Kayla Murr and her husband, Michael, of Grovespring, Missouri, two grandchildren, Tristan and Madison Murr of Grovespring, her mother, Judy Holbrook, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, one brother, Buck Bruffett of Springfield, Missouri, one sister, Brenda Bruffett of West Plains, Missouri, nephews and nieces, Derrick Bruffett, and Chelsee Cale, of West Plains, Cameron Bruffett, and Zane Bruffett of Springfield, and other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
