Tom leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Betty Jo; son, Chris; and daughter, Jessica (Charlie) Weaver; and the love of his life; his grandsons, Jennings, Avery, and Andy, and a special nephew, Billy Stephens; sisters-in-law, Carol Wright, Mary Waterhouse, Connie Holland, Barbara Holland, and Debbie Moore; brothers-in-law, Randy Moore and Brad Strosnider; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.

Tom was of the Baptist Faith and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

He started working when he was 12 years old at Counts Service Station in Eminence, where he grew up. He moved to Mountain View and worked at Richard Brothers, and later became manager of the feed store. He then worked for Ozarks Medical Center as a dispatcher, EMT, and mechanic for the ambulance districts. In 1997, he became Transportation Superintendent for the Mtn. View and Birch Tree Schools, until his retirement in 2021. He loved working for the children and his bus drivers. In his spare time, along with Betty Jo, he remodeled ten houses after work hours and weekends.

He married into a big close family who were always together and loved cooking for all occasions. All the memories of card playing, deer hunting and just being together will be cherished. They are many and great. Tom will be missed greatly, but to know he is not suffering and went to be with Jesus means a lot to his family.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
