Tommy Joe Hampton

Tommy Joe Hampton, 51 years, 6 days old, passed away on July 9, 2022 from a motorcycle accident on T Highway, Oldfield, MO, in Christian County.

Tommy was born July 3, 1971 in Mansfield, MO to Eldon Duane “Bud” and Bonita Maxine (Swearengin) Hampton.

He was a Logger and drove a dump truck for Guerin Construction.

Tommy enjoyed hunting mushrooms and arrowheads, fishing and riding his motorcyle! He was a Christian a member of the Eastern Gate Missionary Baptist Church and baptized by Brother James Orick.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tommy is survived by his four children, Madeline Boyd, Kyle Hampton, Sarah Hampton and Abbigayle Flannery; three granddaughters, Elayne, Kallie and Hazel and a grandson on-the-way; his step mother, Frances Hampton; his siblings, Mark Hampton, Marvin Hampton, Mike Hampton, Jonette Brazeal, Jenny Downs, Jim Gastineau and Jackie Hairr; many other relatives and numerous friends.

Graveside services for Tommy will be Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stillings Cemetery, CR 542, Ava, MO.

Officiating will be Rev. James Orick.  Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
