Traci Aileen Taylor, 47 AKA “Lovey”, loving daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend obtained her angel wings surrounded by all her family on Sept. 15, 2022 at 11:50am at the Cox South Medical Center after succumbing to a head injury from a motorcycle accident Tuesday night near Vanzant, MO. She was born on November 17, 1974 in Springfield, MO and grew up on a farm near Norwood where she spent her days with family and friends.
Traci had a large family; 3 siblings, loving parents, multiple aunts and uncles, grandparents, 3 girls and 2 grandchildren. She was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving to others and incorporated her love and care into motherhood.
Traci was active at her fathers church in Grovesprings and gave of her time by running the Youth Ministry there and brought many children to Christ. She was an entrepreneur and ran an excavating business and residential/commercial cleaning services.
Traci loved her family dearly, always going above and beyond to give them all they wanted and needed. She loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. In her free time she enjoyed making jewelry for her family and was truly gifted and talented. She also enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with her girls and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and especially her girls and grandchildren.
Traci was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Katherine McCoy, Frank and Aileen Sharp and Gene and Sue Cannon; her father, Maxwell Sharp and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her mother and father, Wayne and Theresa Cannon of Mtn. Grove; sisters, Maxi Payne and husband, Bobby of Grovesprings and Cheri Morris of Mtn. Grove; brother, Brian Cannon and wife, Olda of Naylor, MO; daughters, Alyssa Carlson of Iowa, Kianna Sharp of Florida and Kiara Martin of Iowa; grandchildren, Isabella Tuton and Isaiah Carlson both of Iowa; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
