He served as a police officer for ten years and recently retired in 2019. He enjoyed spending time with his family, quiet days on the river, and hunting with his sons. He was a lover of all music, something he and his wife, Jennifer shared a lot of interest in. He enjoyed playing the guitar, especially with his father and late brother, Kevin Howell.

Travis and Jennifer really didn’t get to do too much because of Covid. They were in quarantine for half of their marriage because they were preparing for surgeries, so they were always home. They did have a wonderful vacation in Florida in 2019 that he talked about up until he passed.

Travis will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
