Uel Stanley Tusher, 62 of West Plains, MO formally of Alton, MO passed away on October 10, 2021.
Son of Uel and Etta Tusher, he was born on December 22, 1958, in St. Louis, Mo. Uel and Cindy (Sheets) Tusher united in marriage, July 29th, 1978, in Thayer MO.
Survivors include his wife Cindy (Sheets) Tusher his children Amanda Tusher and Richard Mitchell, Uel Steven Tusher and wife Michelle (Bartilucci) Tusher, and Catherine Tusher. Grandchildren; Grace Ann Bates, Brianna Marie Bates, Lily Catherine Tusher, Melville “Menseh” Mansa Goswell and Uel “Sawyer” Robert Tusher. Siblings; Becky Dolby, Doretta Nelson, Michael Tusher, Nina Gates and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Proceeded in death by his parents Uel and Etta Tusher, his in-laws Calvin and Susan Sheets his brother-in-law Hal Dolby and his nephew Nick Newcity.
Uel was a devoted husband, father, brother and an amazing uncle that always kept his nieces and nephews laughing. He cherished his family and extended family.
In high school Uel played baseball and his senior year was awarded the Star State Farmer Award and was nominated for American Star Farmer. Uel raised award winning cattle and was one of the largest producers in Missouri of certified Angus and Charolais cattle.
In his spare time Uel enjoyed taking his brother Mike fishing and antiquing. Uel’s happiest moments were with his family. In his younger years and throughout their marriage Uel and Cindy lite up the dance floor. Uel was very proud of his children Amanda, Steven and Catherine. He was a great encourager of them as well as an amazing Papa.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 15, 2021, at the Bailey Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Alton, MO, with Bro. J. Darrell Strain officiating. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
