Verda Louise Richardson, 91, a lifelong resident of Mountain View, Missouri was born on April 21, 1930, the daughter of William Luther and Rissie Mae (Foss) Delling. She passed away on August 31, 2021, at Mountain View Healthcare, Mountain View, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Oren Ray Richardson on January 27, 1950, in Mountain View, MO. To this union three sons were born, William Gregory, Douglas Ray, and Ryan Ross.
Verda is survived by her three sons, Greg Richardson and wife, Brenda of Winona, MO, Doug Richardson and wife, Jewell of Birch Tree, MO, and Ryan Richardson and wife, Teresa of Branson, MO; one brother, John Delling and wife, Twila of Nixa, MO; one sister, Wilma Lee Terrill of Summersville, MO; six grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Richardson; parents, William and Rissie Delling; one sister, Ada Whitney; and one brother-in-law, Dwain Terrill.
Verda retired from Angelica Uniform Factory in Mountain View and loved volunteering at Mercy St. Francis Hospital and Thrift Store.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri with Greg, Doug, and Ryan Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9-10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
