Vernon Gale “Bud” “Bo” Carr, Jr. was born August 30, 1952, in West Plains, Missouri to Vernon and Silora (Yarber) Carr. Bo passed away on March 5, 2025, at his home in Mountain View, Missouri.
Bo and Terry were married on November 16, 1974, in Mountain View, Missouri. Together they had two daughters, Lisa and Vicki.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Carr; daughters, Lisa (Mark) Harris and Vicki Carr (Shawn Wallace); grandchildren, Trey Finch, Tyler Carr, Austen Carr, Anthony (Sophie) Wallace, Kylee Wallace, Devin Harris and Abby (Jayden) Wiley; great-granddaughters, Margot Wallace, Ivy Wiley, and unborn granddaughter, Anslie Bo Carr; sisters, Sandy Cooper and Marilyn (Dickie) Glass; and his special dog, Buck.
Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Silora Carr; infant granddaughter, Tiffany Finch; brother, Bruce Carr; and sister, Janet Julian.
Bo enjoyed metal detecting, sports cars, hunting golf balls, sitting on the porch with a glass of tea, visiting friends, and going to the casino with his sister, Sandy. Bo and Terry enjoyed going on rides and going to flea markets and auctions.
Bo was baptized and gave his life to the Lord.
He will be deeply missed by all his loved ones and friends who had the privilege of knowing him. May his loved ones find comfort in the cherished memories they hold dear.
A family-guided Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Church of Christ in Mountain View, Missouri, with Dale Law officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society in St. Louis, Missouri.
