Virgil Ray Rosenbum passed away at the Van Buren, Missouri Nursing Home on January 7, 2022 at the age of 87.
Virgil is survived by his wife, Delores Rosenbum of 58 years of the home of Mountain View, MO. They were married in Miami, OK on March 26, 1963.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, Kevin Rosenbum and wife, Diane of Osseo, WI; daughter, Tonette McCoy and husband, Wayne of West Frankfort, IL; daughter, Tammy McClellan and husband, Clay of Mountain View, MO; son, Donny Rosenbum and wife, Sherry of Summersville, MO. Virgil had several grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Bessie Rosenbum; his brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Beverly Rosenbum; his sister and brother-in-law, Lenora and Clarence King; daughter, Kathleen Fox; and grandson, Danny McClellan.
Virgil was born in Thomasville, Missouri, on June 5, 1934. He enjoyed camping and fishing at the river and lake. He also loved to spend time with his family. He was a member of the Mountain View Church of Christ for many years.
Virgil will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. with Dale Law officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
