Virginia Annette Clayton, 87 years, 7 months, 28 days old, passed away on June 9, 2023 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, Missouri.

Virginia was born October 11, 1935 in Squires, Missouri to Homer and Mary (Spurlock) Turner.

Virginia was a Christian and prayed for her family whenever she could.

Virginia enjoyed sitting on her front porch and watching the animals.  She liked to fish, drink coffee and dancing.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Bobby; two brothers, Donald Turner and James Edward Turner; and one sister, Mary Lou Hodges.

Virginia is survived by three children and their spouses, Stephen Lee and Thelma Clayton, Douglas James and Michele Clayton, and Vicki Elaine Nelson; five grandchildren, James Nelson, Ashley Yost, Brandon Nelson, Cody Clayton, and Austin Clayton; nine great-grandchildren with one on the way; three sisters, Charlene Tellor, Josey Adamson, and Sandra Clopper; and a many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Virginia will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.  in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. to service time.  Burial will be in the Fannon Cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor Neal Crum.  Memorials may be made to the Fannon Cemetery
