Walter made a profession of faith in Christ earlier in life and attended Harvestime Tabernacle Church in Marshfield for many years and has been attending Diggins Apostolic Church (now Greater Life Apostolic Church) for the last 5 years. He was very active in the church and especially “pushed” the peanut brittle during the holidays to help raise money for the church.

In his spare time, he liked to read, play cards, especially Phase 10 and Uno, and go to McDonald’s. Walter never met a stranger and loved to visit with everyone.

Walter was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his long life and have many wonderful memories that we will always cherish.
