Wanda Berniece (Patton) Shoults, age 89 of Summersville, Missouri, passed away on December 15, 2022 at St. Louis, Missouri. She was born July 31, 1933 in Ink, Missouri, the daughter of James Alfred and Mary Ina (Sykes) Patton. Wanda was united in marriage to Gerald Dewain Shoults on May 8, 1954. To their union three sons were born: Michael Dewain, Bradley Gerald and Richard Allen.
She lived in St. Louis and Arnold, Missouri before moving to the farm in 1983. She then moved to Summersville in 2004.
Wanda was a member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Arnold then First Baptist Church in Summersville.
Wanda took great pride in taking care of her yard and garden. When she wasn’t tending to her flowers and plants, she was making sure the grass didn’t get too tall! Her greatest joy was spoiling her grandkids and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewain Shoults; her parents Alfred and Ina Patton; brothers, Louis Patton, Vernon Patton, Larry Patton and James (Jack) Patton and sisters, Dorothy Winkleman and Lois Jean Patton.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Michael and wife Teresa, Bradley and wife Vicki and Richard and wife Cindy; four grandchildren, Melinda and husband David, their daughters, Madelynn and Sophia and son Liam, Jason and wife Amanda, their daughters, Annabella, Adelaide and AnaLise and sons, Jayden, Jeremiah and Jonah, Rebecca and her daughter Finley, Melissa and husband Matt, their daughter, Ava and sons Ryan and Lucas as well as her sister Patricia and husband Frank. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
