Wanda Lea LaFavor, 94 of Cabool, MO passed away peacefully on August 27, 2021 at the NHC Healthcare in West Plains, MO. She was born on August 12, 1927 in Porum, OK the daughter of Isaac Newton “Newt” and Leona Ellen (Slavens) Minnick.
Wanda married Edward Elmer LaFavor on March 24, 1945 in Bakersfield, California and they were married 58 years when he preceded her in death on May 4, 2003. The family lived in Arizona for a number of years where they owned numerous business until moving to Cabool 44 years ago where they owned and operated a small farm.
She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, quilting, vegetable gardening and she loved her pets.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Elmer LaFavor; son, Edward “Eddie” LaFavor; daughter, Diane Gutierrez and several grand and great grandchildren. She is survived by 6 children, Darlene (Billy) Odom, Donald LaFavor and Judy (Larry) Price all of Casa Grande, AZ, Jackie LaFavor (Raymond Murray) of St. Charles, MO, Jimmy LaFavor (dear friend, Andy McClure) of Cabool, MO and Danny Ray (Von) LaFavor of Madison, AL; 21 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren.
