Waneta Maye “Nita” (Priest) Dodson died Nov 22nd 2019 at her home in Ozark Acres, Ar.
There will be a graveside ceremony 11am Nov 30th at Baker Cemetery in Ozark Acres followed by her burial where Nita will be laid to rest next to her husband Les, her parents and sister.
Nita was born in Mound City, Ks on Dec 16 1933 to Frank & Wilma (Stidham) Priest. Nita worked as a secretary for nearly 40 years for Coca Cola and The American Hot Rod Association as well as for her son-in-law Louie. Nita was a proud Christian since she was a little girl. She played the piano during services for several years at Spring Lake Baptist Church in Ozark Acres. In 1951 she married Glen Martin. To this union 2 children were born, LuWana Marcia and Paul David. In 1969 she married Les Dodson.
Nita is survived by her children Marci Dulier (Louie) of Liberty, Mo and Paul Martin of Ozark Acres, Ar. Six grandchildren Nicole Bollinger, Raquel Bollinger, Jason Dulier Sr (Nikki), Angel Searle (Mike), Joseph Martin and David Martin (Amanda) and 11 great grandchildren, Kayleigh Cox, Chris Cox, Jason Dulier Jr, Drew McCorkendale, Mason Dulier, Marcie Dulier, Gloria Searle, Lucien Dulier, Anson Dulier, Noah Martin and unborn Corbin Martin, a step Great Grandaughter Brianna Johnson as well as 2 nephews Mike & Scott Frost and 2 Grand Nieces, Misty & Becka Frost. She is predeceased by husbands Glen in 1983, Les in 2017, a sister Martha (Priest) Frost in 2017, a granddaughter Marci Bollinger in 1969 and a great granddaughter Lilly Martin earlier this year.
