William Frank Mounce, 59, of Viola, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Salem, Arkansas. He was born on March 14, 1967, in Beatrice, Nebraska, to Marion Frank Mounce and Virginia Maudine (Branscum) Mounce.
William spent his working years as a general contractor and was known as a hardworking man who took pride in his work. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and believed strongly in giving people second chances. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart and his willingness to “give the shirt off his back” to help someone in need.
He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church in Viola, Arkansas. William loved music and was a talented musician who enjoyed sharing his love of music with others. He also loved softball and spending time with family and friends.
Above all, William loved his family deeply. He treasured the time spent with his children and grandchildren and will be remembered for his kindness, hardworking spirit, and caring nature.
He is survived by three sons, Cody Mounce of Viola, Arkansas, Logan Mounce of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Zach Freeman (Riley) of Russellville, Arkansas; one daughter, Kimberly Love of London, Arkansas; five grandchildren; one brother, Jeff Baldridge of Norfork, Arkansas; and four sisters, Tammy Criner (James) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Debbie Mounce Tabor (Jim) of Beebe, Arkansas, Robin Baldridge of Piggott, Arkansas, and Debbie Huffman (Alan) of Delight, Arkansas. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Mounce, and his parents.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
