Senior Spotlight: Thaysen Feldbaumer-Winona High School

Thaysen Feldbaumer is a senior at Winona High School. Thaysen is a member of the student council; where he served as the President this year, TOPS (Teen Outreach Program), FBLA and Beta; where he placed fourth place at the State Beta Convention for his on-site drawing his Junior and Senior year. He was also the Class President his sophomore year.

Thaysen played basketball up until his Freshman year, has played baseball for Fall, Spring and Summer leagues every year, and has ran Cross Country since it returned to Winona his 8th grade year. He received All-Conference for Cross Country his Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior year, All-Districts his Sophomore, Junior and Senior year and All-State his Senior year. The team also qualified as a team his junior year and were District Champions his senior year. His junior year he organized and presented a proposal to the superintendent to add track and field as a sport at Winona and it was approved in the Winter of this year. Sadly, this season ended before it began.

On top of his extra curricular activities, Thaysen works part time, has maintained a 3.74 GPA and will graduate High School with 29 college credit hours. He will be attending Missouri S&T in Rolla in the fall where he will pursue a Computer Science degree.
