15 hospitalized due to cold at the Chiefs game

The Kansas City Fire Department received nearly 70 calls for service at the stadium, with almost half of those calls related to signs of hypothermia as temperatures dropped to minus 6 with a wind chill of minus 27. A spokesman for KCFD said 15 people were hospitalized, including seven for hypothermia and three for frostbite. Temperatures will be in the low 20s in Buffalo for this Sunday’s kickoff.
