2023 Mizzou Football Schedule Announced

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri football’s 2023 schedule was announced Tuesday night in conjunction with SEC Network programming. The Tigers open 2023 with three-straight home games: first-time opponent South Dakota (Sept. 2), Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 9) and Kansas State (Sept. 16).

Mizzou and Middle Tennessee State will play for the third time. The Tigers won the 2003 match-up 41-40 in overtime at Faurot Field. The Blue Raiders won the 2016 game, 51-45, also in Columbia. MU leads the series with KSU, 60-33-5.

Mizzou’s home conference slate includes LSU (Oct. 7), South Carolina (Oct. 21), Tennessee (Nov. 11) and Florida (Nov. 18). Mizzou leads the series with LSU, 2-1. The Black and Gold won the last meeting, 45-41, on Oct. 10, 2020 in Columbia for head coach Eliah Drinkwitz‘s first win leading the program. South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida are still to come on the 2022 schedule.

On the road, the Tigers will face Vanderbilt (Sept. 30), Kentucky (Oct. 14), Georgia (Nov. 4) and Arkansas (Nov. 25). All four programs are still to come on the 2022 schedule.

Details on the Sept. 23 game are to be determined. Mizzou will have a bye on October 28.
