COLUMBIA, Mo. – Eight total home dates highlight the 2025 University of Missouri football schedule that was released by the Southeastern Conference office on ESPN2 and SEC Network during a special show Wednesday.
The 2025 schedule marks the first time in program history that the Tigers will host eight games on Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium.
MU opens its campaign with six consecutive home games, beginning with the season opener against Central Arkansas on Saturday, August 30.
Mizzou then welcomes former Big 12 foe and longtime rival Kansas to Faurot Field for the first time since 2006 when the Jayhawks come to Columbia on Saturday, September 6. The Mizzou-Kansas series was played in Kansas City from 2007-2011, with the Tigers claiming the last meeting, 24-10, on November 26, 2011.
The following weekend, MU hosts Louisiana (Sept. 13) before kicking off SEC play against South Carolina on Saturday, September 20. The Tigers then close their out-of-conference slate with their annual Homecoming game against UMass on Saturday, September 27.
Following an open date on October 4, Mizzou welcomes Alabama to Faurot Field on Saturday, October 11 to conclude its six-game home stand.
MU’s schedule continues when it hits the road in back-to-back weekends, traveling to Auburn (Oct. 18) and Vanderbilt (Oct. 25).
After another open date to begin the month of November, the Tigers host Texas A&M and Mississippi State on November 8 and 15, respectively, to close out their home schedule.
Mizzou is then back on the road at Oklahoma on Saturday, November 22, before closing out the regular season with the Battle Line Rivalry at Arkansas on November 29.

No. 19 Missouri (9-3) continues its 2024 season against Iowa at the Music City Bowl on Monday, December 30 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. CT with ESPN and Tiger Radio Network providing coverage. Tickets to the Tigers’ fifth consecutive bowl berth can be purchased HERE.
