WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Three rosters from the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly eSports program have advanced in the NJCAAE spring playoffs.
In the Invitational, the Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 squad of Brock DeWeese, West Plains, and Spencer Spreutels, Koshkonong, will play in the national championship at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, against the Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College roster after defeating another roster from Hutchinson in the semifinals last week.
The Grizzlies’ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) roster will play in the open national championship at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 22. During a very competitive match on against Catawba Valley Redhawks in the semifinals last week, the Grizzlies walked away with a 3-1 victory.
The Overwatch roster advanced to the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Friday, April 21, against Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kansas. If they win, they will play in the semifinals at 6:30 p.m. that same day. If they advance again, they will play in the championship at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 23.
