Shohei Ohtani struck out 13 over eight scoreless innings as the Angels shut down the Royals 5-0 in Anaheim. David MacKinnon drove in two runs for Los Angeles. The Angels are 34-and-38. Kansas City had just two hits in the loss. Daniel Lynch allowed one run over four and two thirds innings for the Royals.
